Mr. Monroe McKinnon, Jr. age 81 of Willacoochee, GA passed away late Monday night July 24, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. McKinnon was born September 11, 1941 in the late Monroe McKinnon, Sr. and the late Mary Jane Carver McKinnon. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Michael McKinnon and 7 Siblings: Willie Mae McKinnon, Arlen McKinnon, Andrew McKinnon, Edward McKinnon, Harvey McKinnon, Bobby McKinnon and Randall McKinnon.
Mr. McKinnon, a native of Coffee County, had been a Production Manager with Fleetwood Homes for a number of years. He was a faithful member and deacon at Mora Baptist Church for many years.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, July 26, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday morning July 27, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Mora Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Harper and Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. The interment will follow at Mora Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Fussell conducting the committal service.
