Mrs. Betty Jane Glass Royals, age 81 of Pearson, GA passed away Thursday afternoon, August 31, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short unexpected illness. Mrs. Royals was born July 20, 1942 to the late Purvis Delton Glass and the late Estelle Gather Kirbo Glass. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Kirby Albert Royals and 2 Siblings: William Glass and Ernestine McMahon. 

 

 

Mrs. Royals, a native of Baskin, LA had lived in Pearson, GA area for a number of years. She was a homemaker. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

3 Children: Jimmy Ray Davis and wife Vicki of Mangham, LA 

Rachel Delaine Strickland and husband Bryan of Douglas, GA 

Amanda Gabrielle Lozell of Pearson, GA 

 

 

3 Sisters: Ida Bradshaw, Odell Smith and Ruby Lee Glass all of Rayville, LA 

 

 

4 Brothers: Jimmy “Coonie” Glass of Shreveport, LA 

John David Glass and Sammy Glass both of Mangham, LA 

Jessie Glass of Winnsboro, LA 

 

 

4 Grandchildren: Tyler Ray Davis, Easton Kade Lozell, Everly Reighn Lozell and Taylor Alaine Brook Johns 

 

 

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

 

 

Mrs. Royals has been transported to Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville, LA where the visitation will be Sunday afternoon, September 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville, LA. The funeral service will be Sunday afternoon, September 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville, LA. The interment will follow in Lynn Cemetery in Archibald, LA. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
