Mr. William Anthony “Tony” Nugent, age 81 of Ambrose, GA passed away early Friday morning, August 18, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short sudden illness. Mr. Nugent was born January 16, 1942 to the late Willie S. Nugent and the late Gladys Bennett Nugent. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Chris Nugent and a Grandson: Christopher Ryan Nugent.
Mr. Nugent, a native of Coffee County, was self employed in the carpet and floor covering business for many years He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Mr. Nugent had served in the National Guard.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, August 20, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
