Letrelle Spires, 81, who was reported missing on Wednesday, September 20, was found Thursday not far from her home. She was discovered deceased not far from her vehicle, a grey BMW SUV.
The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office released a missing person’s alert regarding Mrs. Spires around 7:30 p.m. that Wednesday. According to the sheriff’s office announcement, she had not been seen since Sunday, September 17.
