Ribbon cutting celebration marks new chapter for Ginny Carver Photography

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the relocation of Ginny Carver Photography. Established in 2009, Ginny Carver Photography has been capturing cherished moments for the community for over a decade. The event took place at the new studio, signifying an exciting milestone for the business and the Douglas-Coffee County community.

 

 

Ginny Carver Photography, a valued member of the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce since 2016, continues to thrive under the leadership of its namesake, Ginny Carver. Ginny is currently participating in the prestigious Leadership Coffee Class of 2023, a testament to her commitment to personal and professional growth.

 

 

Specializing in portrait-style photography, Ginny Carver offers her talent to a diverse range of clients, including high school seniors, families, individuals, and even pets. She is also the creative force behind the Senior Influencer program, a unique initiative tailored to high school seniors.

 

 

The ribbon-cutting event commenced with a warm welcome from Chelsea Preston, Member Relations Director at the Chamber. Pastor Terry Reagin, a dear friend of Ginny’s and Pastor of St. Illa Baptist Church, delivered a heartfelt invocation, setting a tone of unity and celebration.

 

 

Wynetta Bolder, City Clerk, and Customer Service Director for the City of Douglas, extended a gracious welcome to Ginny and her new studio. She expressed her appreciation for Ginny’s contributions to the city’s prosperity and invoked the words, “A photograph is the pause button on life.” These words resonated deeply with Ginny’s mission, emphasizing the significance of capturing life’s precious moments through photography.

 

 

Ginny Carver, visibly moved by the support of her community, took the opportunity to express her gratitude to everyone who joined the celebration. She also paid a touching tribute to her late father-in-law, acknowledging the importance of family and cherished memories. With her closest family and friends by her side, along with prominent leaders from the community, Ginny Carver officially cut the ribbon, marking the opening of her new and improved photography studio.

 

 

The ribbon cutting ceremony was a momentous occasion, symbolizing the continued growth and success of Ginny Carver Photography. Ginny’s dedication to preserving life’s precious moments through her lens is a testament to her passion and commitment to her craft.
