Ms. Audra Stevens Brown, age 74 of Douglas, GA passed away late Thursday evening, October 12, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton following an extended illness. Ms. Brown was born January 10, 1949 to the late Allen Stevens and the late Mary Lee Carver Stevens. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Hansel Brown and 1 Sister: Gracie Merritt. 

 

 

Ms. Brown, a native of Coffee County, had been employed at Holt’s Bakery for 30 years. She had worked on the line and as a cashier. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

3 Children: Tammie Grantham of Douglas, GA 

Trevis Miller of New York 

Ashley Brown of Broxton, GA 

 

 

2 Sisters: Rebecca Musgrove of Broxton, GA 

Clarice Jewell of Douglas, GA 

 

 

7 Grandchildren: Bryan Grantham, Mari Faith Grantham, Colt Taylor, Abbigail Taylor, Emily Miller, Zachary Miller and Logan Miller. 

 

 

14 Great Grandchildren 

 

 

The family will receive friends, Monday, October 16, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Monday afternoon, October 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Bishop Byron Griffis officiating. The interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery. 

 

 

Pallbearers for the service will be: Colt Taylor, Joseph Coates, Bryan Grantham, Tonie Merritt and Don Merritt. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
