On November 1, agents with the Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit and investigators with the Fitzgerald Police Department served search warrants on the west side of Ben Hill County. Agents arrested several individuals during the execution of these warrants.
Agents recovered several loaded firearms including shotguns and rifles along with recovering a trafficking amount of suspected crystal methamphetamine, several ounces of a green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana, and sets of electronic digital scales with proof of being used in the distribution process of illegal controlled substances. These individuals’ charges will range from trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of tools during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and drug related objects.
