The morning of November 13, 2023, marked a momentous occasion as the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Balloons & More Party Store. This vibrant addition to the community is proudly owned and operated by esteemed Douglas native, Brandon Musgrove.

Brandon Musgrove, also the owner of Stor-More Portable Buildings in Douglas and our local Coroner, has been a pillar of support in the Douglas-Coffee County community for many years. Transitioning from a Sheriff’s deputy to a successful entrepreneur, Musgrove’s journey is an inspiring testament to dedication and resilience.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and introductions by Chelsea Preston, Member Relations Director at the Chamber, followed by a heartfelt invocation delivered by Pastor Gregory Pope of Covenant Church. Pastor Pope blessed both Musgrove and his new business endeavor, invoking God’s abundant blessings over Balloons & More Party Store.

City of Douglas Mayor Tony Paulk shared his excitement about the joy and happiness that Balloons & More Party Store radiates from the moment one enters the building. “From birthday parties to graduations, and every celebration in between, this business exudes happiness, and that is exactly what you want. We are elated to welcome Balloons & More Party Store to the Douglas community,” stated Mayor Paulk.

Ben Floyd, Vice Chair of the Chamber of Commerce Board and VP of Operations at Coffee Regional Medical Center, continued the theme of happiness and expressed gratitude toward Brandon for being an active and supportive Chamber member. Floyd commended Musgrove for choosing to extend his partnership by bringing Balloons & More Party Store to our community.

During the ceremony, Brandon Musgrove shared a touching testimony of his entrepreneurial journey, emphasizing how faith in Jesus Christ has guided him every step of the way. He made a statement during his testimony that was echoed by many in the crowd, “But, God.” Surrounded by family, friends, loyal employees, and community leaders, Musgrove cut the ribbon with joy, symbolizing Balloons & More Party Store’s commitment to serving Douglas, Coffee County, and the surrounding areas.

The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce congratulates Brandon Musgrove and the entire Balloons & More Party Store team on this momentous occasion. As a community, we look forward to many celebrations and joyful moments facilitated by this exciting new addition to our local business landscape.
