Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill reached another major milestone on his way to making history this season.

Sunday afternoon, Hill caught 10 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. That performance put over 1,200 receiving yards for the year in just 10 games. He’s not the first receiver to do that — but he is the first one to do so in 62 years. The most recent receiver to reach 1,200 or more yards in 10 games was Charlie Hennigan of the Houston Oilers. In 1961, he tallied 1,245 yards in 10 games and eventually finished the season with 1,746 yards. Three other players did so between 1942 and 1960.

This year, Hill has caught 79 passes for 1,222 yards and scored nine touchdowns. If he continues to play at his current level, he will total 2,077 yards by season’s end — a mark that no receiver has ever reached.

Hill is leading the NFL in receiving yards; he’s ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles’ AJ Brown and the Dallas Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb by 209 yards (they both have 1,013 yards on the year). Keenan Allen of the Los Angeles Chargers is next with 1,011 yards.

The Dolphins are first in the AFC East with a 7-3 record. Miami travels to the Big Apple this week for a Friday afternoon showdown with the New York Jets at 3 p.m.
