Garvis Randall Davis, age 59, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, November 6, 2023, following an extended illness. He was born on July 30, 1964, in Douglas, GA, the son of Garvis Frank Davis and Eddie Mae Davis.

 

 

His survivors include: Three Sons; Devin (Ashley) Davis of Milan, GA, Kevin Davis of Axon, GA, and Benjaman Davis of Willacoochee, GA, One Daughter; Debra (Caleb) Davis of Douglas, GA, Five Grandchildren; Lasey Stevens, Carson Davis, Laykyn Davis, Alivia Davis, and Gunner Davis. He was preceded in death by: Father; Garvis Frank Davis, Mother; Eddie Mae Davis, One Daughter; Ashley Irene Davis, and One Sister; Annie Mae Pittman.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 12PM until 2PM, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Langs Baptist Church in Pearson, GA, at 2PM, with Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating.

 

 

Interment will follow at Langs Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

 

Active Pallbearers include: Roy Pittman, Scott Pittman, Jeffery Davis, Danny Davis, Matthew Nix and Daniel Crenshaw.

 

 

Honorary Pallbearers include: Kevin Zanders, and William Patrick.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
