Mrs. Ida Kay Richardson Reliford, age 59, of Douglas, GA died Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.

 

 

Mrs. Reliford was born Friday, June 5, 1964 in Jacksonville, FL to Rose Lee Singleton Richardson and the late Harmon Lacey Richardson, Sr. She was a loving wife of 39 years to the late James Wayne Reliford. She loved her family and had a special affection for her grandchildren. Her hobbies included crocheting, fishing and listening to country music. Mrs. Reliford was a very outspoken lady and there was never a doubt about where she took a stand. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Reliford was preceded in death by one son, James Lacey Reliford.

 

 

Survivors include:

Her Mother: Rose Lee Singleton Richardson of Nicholls, GA;

 

 

7 Children: Julian Richardson of Ambrose, GA,
Donnie Lee Reliford, and wife Effie, of Nicholls, GA,
John Wayne Reliford, and wife Victoria, of Douglas, GA,
April Sunshine Tanner, of Douglas, GA,
Geneva Rose Merritt, of Axson, GA,
Billy Wayne Reliford, of Broxton, GA,
Perry George Young, and wife Laci, of Douglas, GA;

 

 

 

16 Grandchildren;

 

 

2 Great-Grandchildren;

 

 

1 Sister: Mary Worth, and husband Glen, of Nicholls, GA; and

 

 

1 Brother: Harmon Lacey Richardson, Jr. of Broxton.

 

 

A number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

 

 

Memorialization will be by cremation and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
