Martha Solomon, age 81, of Douglas, Ga, went to be with our Lord and savior on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was born on December 21, 1941 the daughter of Mr. William Huel Smith and Mrs. Adell Meeks Smith.

 

 

She is Survived by; Two Daughters; Terry (Johnny) Odom of Douglas, GA, and Toni Taylor of Douglas, GA, Two Step-Sons; Jeffery (Jan) Solomon of Athens, GA, and Jason (Audrey) Solomon of Douglas, GA, Ten Grandchildren; Nathan (Anna) Taylor, Natalie (Collin) Crews, Hunter (Haley) Odom, Baylie Odom, Taylor (Garrett) Macfalda, Morgan (Hale) Johnson, Tanner (Ashlyn) Solomon, Drew (Jared) Solomon, Jo Walker Solomon, and Lizzy Bea Solomon, Four Brothers; William Smith, Anthony Smith, Steve (Jean) Smith, and Larry (Penny) Smith, Four Sisters; Hazel (James) Barfield, Betty Smith, Ann (Peter) Peterson, and Lila Smith (Robert) Eubanks, Five Great-Grandchildren; Ayden Taylor, Brinley Taylor, Carleigh Crews, Marlowe Odom, and Aloni Solomon. She was preceded in death by; Beloved Husband; Joe Glen Solomon, Father; William Huel Smith, and Mother; Adell Meeks Smith, One Step-Daughter; Lisa K. Solomon, One Brother; Milton Harvey Smith, One Sister-in-Law; Margie Smith, Two Sisters; Sandra Smith Stevens and Penelope “Penny” Smith Kozma, and One Brother-in-Law; Joe Kozma.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 1pm until 2PM, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home, in Douglas, GA, at 2PM, with Rev. Leroy Spivey officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Holiness Cemetery.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
