Reavis Gene Stone, age 80, of Douglas Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA. He was born on March 17, 1943 the son of Mr. Reavis Stone Sr. and Ms. Clara Belle Fales Stone in New York City, New York.

 

 

He is survived by: His Beloved Wife; Patricia Stone of Douglas, GA, Two Sons; Patrick Stone of Colorado, and Robert (Camille) Guthrie of Douglas, GA, One Daughter; Patrenice (Ben) West of Macon, GA, Three Grand-Children; Daniel Guthrie, Samuel Guthrie, and Cooper West, One Sister-in-Law; Shirlene (Rhett) Royal, Brother-in-Law; Charles Larry (Eloise) Daniel, Special Friends; Dr. H.P. Nair and Nirmala Nair, Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Father; Revis Stone Sr., and Mother; Clara Belle Fales Stone, and One Son; Ronald Stone.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 1PM until 2PM, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, with Rev. Bob Powell and Rev. Heath Wingard officiating.

 

 

Active Pallbearers include: Ben Wall, Rodney Waldroup, Jody Jowers, Charles Royal, Jason Royal, and Darren Daniel.

 

 

Honorary Pallbearers include: Glynn Ray Harrell, Bobby Mancil , Jim Schwindle, Bryce Dawson, Bobby Gladin , George Blampied, Rocky Rockwilder, Charles Larry Daniel, Rett Royal, and Julio Perez.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
