Sherry Jean Buchan Russ, age 72, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Saturday November 25, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Russ was born on May 28, 1951 to the late J.W. and Betty Buchan.

 

 

Survivors include: Two Sons; Rockki Justin (Barbara) Russ of Nicholls, GA, Josh (Tonya) Russ of Nicholls, GA, Five Grandchildren; Baily Russ, Tyler Russ, Harper Russ, Justin Russ, Zackery (Cara) Whitley, Three Sisters; Dinky (Mike) Kirkland, Debbie (Mickey) Burnam, and Stacy (Bobby) Davis. Ms. Russ was also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. Ms. Russ was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Russ and her parents J.W. and Betty Buchan.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 2:00PM, at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Stone officiating. The interment will follow at Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

 

Active Pallbearers will be: Bobby Davis, Jordan Davis, Shane Pridgen, Mike Kirkland, Mickey Burnam, and Johnny Holland.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
