Chamber recognizes 2023 Leadership Coffee class

The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes and celebrates the achievements of the 2023 Class of Leadership Coffee, a community leadership development program aimed at equipping our leaders with the tools they need to continue a legacy of economic and community development for Douglas-Coffee County. This year’s program was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Pineland Bank.

 

 

The Leadership Coffee program, an initiative of the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce, provides participants with a unique opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, expand their network, and engage with the community in meaningful ways. Throughout the program, participants engage in immersive experiences and training in areas of Workforce Development, Tourism, Public Safety, Industry Recruitment and Expansion, Economic Challenges and Advantages, that prepare them to lead Coffee County and the organizations they represent for decades to come.

 

 

Among the outstanding individuals who successfully completed the program, two participants were honored with the prestigious Outstanding Leadership Award: Alan Chancey, Coffee CountySchool System; Captain Leon Whitley, City of Douglas Police Department.

 

 

The 2023 Class of Leadership Coffee includes the following graduates:

Kelly Gurley – Coffee Regional Medical Center

Amy Hancock – South Georgia State College

Sam Holland – Premium Waters

Jason Hurst – Wiregrass Georgia Technical College

Dionne Ingram – F.L.Y Fitness

Emily Jean – NOLA Salon

Holly Johnson – Johnson Auto Sales

Quincy Kelly – Bridge Builders Initiatives

Carrie Minchew – Coffee Regional Medical Center

Amy Murray – Design Down South

Allison Norris – Norris Shoe Store and the Martin Centre Preservation Co.

Tony Paulk – Paulk Plaza and the City of Douglas

Matt Seale – Chamber and Economic Development Authority (EDA)
