Post-season accolades are rolling in for the 2023 state champion Coffee Trojans.

The All-Region teams were announced Friday afternoon and 26 Trojans were named. Additionally, senior running back Fred Brown is Region 1-5A Player of the Year while head coach Mike Coe was named Region 1-5A Coach of the Year.

The First Team Defense includes ends Larenzo Harvey and Elgie Paulk, linebackers Jyarius Carter and Jatavious Williams, and defensive backs Anthony Paulk, Isiah Johnson, and Tyriq Edwards.

The 2023 Trojans finished the season a perfect 15-0 in Coach Coe’s second year at the helm. They defeated the Creekside Seminoles 31-14 in the state championship game Wednesday afternoon.

Three All-Region Trojans — Jyarius Carter (23), Jatavious Williams (13), and Jaqavius Simpkins (18) converge on Creekside’s Damien Henderson during the state title game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium on December 13, 2023. Coffee won 31-14.
