Mayor Tony Paulk has signed a proclamation officially declaring March 1, 2024 as World Teen Mental Wellness Day in Douglas and Coffee County. This proclamation sets the stage for a powerful initiative led by Coffee High School senior Ethan Kramer, who is thrilled to once again promote his “Today Will Be Better” campaign in the local community.

Observing World Teen Mental Wellness Day highlights the community’s commitment to raising awareness, breaking down stigmas and actively contributing to the well-being of teenagers facing mental health challenges in Douglas and Coffee County.

Kramer expresses gratitude for the strong community support that contributed to last year’s success. He is excited to share his new design and hopes the community continues to support this vital initiative by purchasing merchandise. This year’s “Today Will Be Better” collection features a Comfort Colors T-Shirt, a Comfort Colors Light Weight Sweatshirt, a Sportsman Canvas Hat, and stickers. All profits from these sales will be donated to NAMI Georgia (National Alliance on Mental Illness), a nonprofit organization deeply committed to mental health advocacy.

Learn more about this initiative by visiting www.todaywillbebetterapparel.com. Today Will Be Better apparel can be purchased through the website and order forms are available for schools and businesses.
