Beverly Johns announces today that she will seek re-election as Probate Judge in the upcoming non-partisan election.
Beverly was elected in 2016 to her first term as Probate Judge. She went to work in the Probate Court in 2004, working under two different administrations – that of Troy C. Paul and later with Sylvia Stone.
Beverly was recognized in 2020 as she completed the Georgia Probate Court Judges’ Certificate Program. At this time, she became the first certified Probate Judge for Coffee County.
“When I announced in 2016 that I would seek election to the office of Probate Judge, I offered my experience, dedication, competent and friendly service to the people of Coffee County. The past 8 years as your Probate Judge have given me an opportunity to grow even more in these areas. I have been especially blessed in the area of service. One of the best aspects of my work is the people I encounter each day.
“I am grateful to the people of Coffee County for electing me to this position and promise to continue to work for each of you. And in this endeavor, I am extremely blessed to have the assistance of Yesica Arias and Jennifer Rice. Yesica is the secretary and Chief Clerk, Jennifer is the receptionist and the Deputy Clerk. Without their cheerful and competent assistance, I would be lost. We never stand alone in what we do. There are always others whose contributions go into making each of us what we are. The Probate Court is richly enhanced by their dedication and commitment to excellent service.
“I truly thank God and the citizens of this county for giving me an opportunity to serve and an opportunity to do what I love to do.”’
