Steve Grimes, age 55, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Grimes was born on January 9, 1968 in Coffee County, GA to the late James and June Grimes.

Survivors include: His Beloved Wife; Tammy Leighann Grimes of Douglas, GA, Two Daughters; Courtney (Chase White) Grimes of Douglas, GA, Jessica Wilkerson Of Douglas, GA, Two Sons; Austin (Tori) Grimes of Axson, GA, Michael (Ivy) Wilkerson of Douglas, GA, Ten Grandchildren; Jalyn White, Gage White, Owen White, Raylee Morris, Aubree Grimes, Reatus Grimes, Louanna Grimes, Cam Grimes, Gracie Wilkerson, Jennings Wilkerson, One Sister; Denise Grimes of Douglas, GA, and several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 12:30PM until 2:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 2:00PM, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Walter James officiating, and Special Speaker Cam Coffee. A private interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be: Buck Wiggins, Joe Killabrew, Mathew Spivey, Craig Coffee, Ben Smith, and Rob Smith Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jerry McKinnon, Clifford and Sylvia Stone, Shirly Merritt, Buck Wiggins, and Richard Merritt.

Sims Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
