“I, Jimmy Kitchens, am pleased to announce my candidacy for re-election as County Commissioner for Coffee County District 2 in the upcoming November general election. I have had the honor of serving District 2 and Coffee County for the past 19 years.
“A lifelong resident of Coffee County, I am married to Beth Kitchens, with whom I share three children – Kristen, Justen, and Hannah. We also have a 6-year-old grandson named Beckham. In my leisure time, I enjoy quality moments with family, taking my grandson fishing, and caring for cattle and horses.
“Since my election in 2004, I have attained the designation of a Certified County Commissioner and have served on the ACCG Board of Managers, along with various other local and regional boards. Collaborating with constitutional officers and county employees, I have contributed to maintaining a responsible government. I have fostered connections with local, state, and U.S. officials to convey the needs and desires of Coffee County citizens.
“I am committed to continuing my work of listening and collaborating with the residents of District 2 and Coffee County to promote responsible and efficient government and economic development. I humbly seek your support for re-election as your County Commissioner for District 2 on May 21 in the primary and on November 5 in the general election. Thank you.”
