Craig Jewell, age 57, of Douglas, Ga, passed away on Thursday, February 15th,2024, at his residence. He was born on July 28th, 1966, in Douglas, Ga the son of Mr. Merrill Clayson Jewell ad Mrs. Myrna Joan Waldron Jewell.
His survivors include: One Son; Braxton (Carrie Ann) Jewell of Douglas, Ga, One Daughter; Maria Joan (Roy) Swann, Seven Grandchildren; Henlee Jewell, Harper Jewell, Hollyn Jewell, Haisley Jewell, Baker Jewell, Josie Swann, Raener Swann, Two Brothers; Rodney Neal Peterson, and Merrill Travis Jewell, along with several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Father; Merrill Clayson Jewell, Mother; Myrna Joan Waldron Jewell, One Brother; Rexford Allen Peterson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 18th, 2024 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, Ga.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 19th, 2024 at 2:00PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Douglas, Ga, with Bishop Matt Smith, Bro. Jerry Waldron, and Bro. Ashley Woods officiating and Bro. Rodney Peterson to dedicate at the graveside. Interment will follow at Little Utah Church Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will include: Braxton Jewell, Travis Jewell, Dean Jewell, Clayson Jewell, Rodney Peterson, John Farley, Roy Swann, and Robbie Davenport.
