Mr. Johnny Edward Walls, Sr., age 63, of Alma, Georgia passed away Sunday afternoon at his residence on January 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born Friday, January 22, 1960 in Avon Park, Florida to the late James Edward Walls, Sr. and the late Betty Faye Kinard Walls. Mr. Walls made his career as a truck driver and spent 15 years working for Thunderbolt Enterprises, Inc. in Douglas, Georgia. He attended First Baptist Church of Douglas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Weldon Walls.

Mr. Walls is survived by 5 children: Delilah Martin of Douglas, Georgia, Johnny Walls, Jr. of Alma, Georgia, Bobby Joe Walls of Danville, Ohio, Joshua Lee Walls of Columbus, Georgia, and Rhonda Taft of Douglas, Georgia; 2 brothers: Alfred Walls of Rochelle, Georgia and Keith Walls of Abbeville, Georgia; 2 Sisters: Faye Walls of Abbeville, Georgia and Misty Little of Valdosta, Georgia; and his fiancée: Tabitha Harrington of Alma, Georgia. Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Burkett officiating. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral home on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Mr. Walls will be cremated and a private inurnment will be held at a later date.
