Mrs. Louetha McKinnon Nipper, age 89 of Douglas, Georgia, passed away early Saturday morning, January 6, 2024, at Vista Park Health and Rehab in Douglas, Georgia following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Nipper was born Wednesday, November 14, 1934, to the late Leon McKinnon and the late Matilda Carver McKinnon. She made her career as a seamstress at Fleetwood Industries. Mrs. Nipper was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Nipper was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Nipper, Sr., and brother, Bobby McKinnon.

Mrs. Nipper is survived by a daughter: Judy (Doug) Dombrowski; a son, Charlie (Diane) Nipper, Jr.; grandchildren: Joy (Jeremy) Brinson, Candace (Donald Ivey) Stalvey, Charlie Dakota (Autumn) Nipper and Cheyenne (Raymond) Hathaway; great grandchildren: Addison Brinson, Georgia Brinson, Aniston Stalvey, IveyAnna Stalvey, Canaan Stalvey and Charlie Laurrainne Nipper. Brother, Allen McKinnon. Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening January 7, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Nipper on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.

Active pallbearers for the service will be: Charlie Dakota Nipper, Donald Ivey Stalvey, Raymond Hathaway, Tim Lewis, Bobby Ray McKinnon, and Jerry Lott.

Condolences may be left for the family at www.ricketsonfuneralhome.com.
