Patricia Diane Phillips, age 50, of Douglas, Georgia passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday morning, February 5, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Douglas, Georgia on January 4, 1974 to Mrs. Melba Phillips and the late Tommy Phillips. Patricia was strong in her faith and her love of God. She attended Westside Holiness church for many years and loved talking to her friends and church family. Patricia made her career cleaning houses and as a caregiver for elderly in the community. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a special uncle, Eddie Bowen.

Patricia is survived by her son, Austin Blake Phillips of Douglas, Georgia; mother, Melba Bowen Phillips of Douglas, Georgia; grandchild Zoe Sasha Chutino of Douglas, Georgia; 3 siblings: Brian Phillips of West Green, Georgia, Angie Ragsdale of Douglas, Georgia, and Anthony Phillips of Jesup, Georgia; special uncle, Ronald Bowen and family of Willacoochee, Georgia; 2 aunts: Beverly Spires and Joann Dykes (Johnny), both of Douglas, Georgia. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Gentry and Rev. Tim Mock officiating. Burial will follow in the Chatterton Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.
