Mrs. Raven Cheyanne Sears Garcia, age 34, passed away suddenly Wednesday morning, December 20, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Garcia was born Monday, October 23, 1989 in Douglas, Georgia to the late Mr. Michael Kenneth Sears and Mrs. Susan Odum Sears.

She was a retailer by trade and operated her own business. Her hobbies included yard sales and thrifting. She also loved traveling with her husband and sons, and had a special fondness for sea turtles and frogs. Mrs. Garcia was of the Baptist faith and attended Grace Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Gabriel Christian Garcia, a sister, Amy Sears and a brother, William Bedgood.

Mrs. Garcia is survived by her husband, Rolando Garcia of Douglas, Georgia; her mother, Susan Sears of Douglas, Georgia; 2 sons: Brayden Garcia and Bentley Garcia, both of Douglas, Georgia; 6 siblings and their spouses: Holly Music (Phillip) of Alma, Georgia, Michael Adam Sears (Jewel), of Douglas, Georgia, Michele Leigh Spivey (Franky) of Douglas, Georgia, Joshua Clark Nobles (Ashley) of Waycross, Georgia, and Sandy Denise Toevar (Ramiro) of Tifton, Georgia, as well as her two “Fur Babies”: Conela and Macy.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Louie Lupo officiating. Burial will follow in Satilla Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 28, 2023 in the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel, prior to the funeral service from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

Active pallbearers will be: James T. Turner, Andrew Pittman, Jonathon Wiley, Chris Harrell, Carson Harrell, D.J. Brockington, Jagger Given, and Chase Pridgen.

Condolences may be left for the family at www.ricketsonfuneralhome.com.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
