Mr. Gerald (Jerry) Dale Batten, 64 of Alma, GA passed away on February 23, 2024, at Satilla Hospice in Waycross, GA. He was born on August 22, 1959, to the Late Mr. Owen Batten and the Late Mrs. Mary Eloise Waters Batten.

Mr. Batten is survived by 2 Daughters; Amanda Thrift of Alma, GA. and Becky Morris of West Green, GA.

2 Brothers; Ricky Batten (Peggy) of Willacoochee, GA. and Steve Batten (Sherry) of Pearson, GA.

2 Granddaughters; Whitney Howard (Chandler) of Augusta, GA. and Anzleigh Morris of West Green GA.

2 Grandsons; Conner Thrift of Waycross, GA. and Mason Morris of Douglas, GA.

1 Great-Grandson; Maverick McCoy Morris of Douglas, GA.

Several Nieces, Nephews and other family members also survive.

Other than his parents, Mr. Batten is preceded in death by his Wife, Cindy Eubanks Batten, 2 Brothers, Owen Ray Batten and Darelle Wade Batten and 1 Sister, Dorreen McCoy.

Visitation for Mr. Batten will take place on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM in the chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.
