Albert Clayton Bookout Sr., age 77 of Broxton, GA passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Bookout was born on October 1, 1946, in Coffee County, GA to the late Albert Jackson Bookout and Frances Jewell Courson Bookout.

Survivors include: His Wife; Donna Mae Selph Bookout of Broxton, GA, One Son; Albert Clayton Bookout Jr., Two Sisters; Frances (Lonnie) Spikes of Pearson, GA, Laquita (Elton) Teston of West Green, GA, and Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Mr. Bookout was preceded in death by; One Brother; Fredrick Lee Bookout.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM, at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 11:00AM, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Don Lott officiating. The interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be: Allen Spikes, Jeremy Spikes, Frankie Teston, Glenn Hutto, Fred Smith, and Cameron Merritt.

Sims Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
