COFFEE TRACK TEAM COMPETES AT JEFF DAVIS MEET

The Coffee High track team attended the Jeff Davis All-Comers Meet in Hazlehurst last week. Eight area nschools (Berrien County, Bleckley County, Brantley County, Jeff Davis, Pierce County, Toombs County, and Turner County) were in attendance for the meet. The meet was designed to collect times for future track meets with a Full Automatic Timing Systems known as (FAT).

Here are the athletes who finished in the top three of their respective events:

Kashariyona White finished second in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.89 seconds and the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.62.

Ella Edge competed in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07.52 for a second place finish.

Jarrad Grady finished second in the 300 meter dash with a time of 20.60 to finish second.

Amaryi Williams finished third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07.69.

Junior Travis Adams placed third overall with a time of 11.67 in the 100 meter dash.

Senior Will Bagwell finished with a 5:01.86 1600 meter run time and in the 800 meter run 2:13.52 for a third place finish.

Senior Iyani Johnson competed in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.11 and 13.53 in the 100 meter dash to finish third.
