Mr. Manubhai Chhotabhai Patel, age 81, of Douglas, Georgia passed away Monday afternoon, February 26, 2024 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Patel was a native of Dabhou, Gajarat, India but had spent recent years in the Douglas, Georgia area. Mr. Patel was born March 28, 1942 to the late Chhotabhai Nathabhai Patel and the late Gangaben N. Patel. He obtained a degree in chemistry and made his career as a teacher in India before moving to the United States.

Mr. Patel is survived by his wife, Pravinaben M. Patel of Douglas, Georgia; 2 children: Rashmika N. Patel of Douglas, Georgia, Parulben T. Patel of New Jersey; 2 grandchildren: Siddh R. Patel, Dhruvi R. Patel: 1 Sister, Indiraben S Patel; 5 brothers: Jashbhat N. Patel, Vinubhai N Patel, Arvindbhai N. Patel and Mahindrabhai N Patel.

A funeral service will be held Saturday morning, March 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation. The family will receive friends Saturday morning, March 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM.

Condolences may be left for the family at www.ricketsonfuneralhome.com.
