The Atlanta Falcons have decided they need to keep defensive lineman and Douglas native Kentavius Street.
Street, 6’2”, 290 lbs., was traded to the Falcons from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023. He played five games with Atlanta (after playing eight with Philly) before suffering a season-ending pectoral injury in December. In those five games (all of which he started), he recorded 14 total tackles, one fumble recovery, a pass deflected, and a sack. With the Eagles, he played in eight games and had four total tackles.
Street was a fourth round draft pick out of North Carolina State. He moved from Douglas to Greenville, North Carolina, when he was in high school and graduated from J.H. Rose High School.
Street has played five years in the NFL with four different teams: the San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints, Eagles, and Falcons. For his career, he has played in 65 games (10 starts) and recorded 89 total tackles along with 7.5 sacks.
