BERNICE ‘SUSIE’ E. LOTT, 66

Bernice “Susie” E. Lott, age 66, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA following an extended illness. Ms. Lott was born on November 1, 1957 to the late Paul and Christine Whitley.

Ms. Lott was retired from the Coffee County School System and spent most of her career at Ambrose Elementary School.

Survivors include: One Daughter; Whitney Lott and Dustin Walker of Pearson, GA, One Grandson; Lincoln Walker of Pearson, GA, One Granddaughter; Tessa Walker of Pearson, GA, and a Sister-in-Law; Shelby Harrell. Ms. Lott was preceded in death by: Her Husband; Freddie Lott, Parents; Paul and Christine Whitley, Brother; James Richard “Joe” Harrell, Maternal Grandparents; Aaron and Pearlie Cothren, Paternal Grandparents; Horace and Mary Whitley. Ms. Lott is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 12:00PM until 1:00PM, at Sims Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 2:00PM, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ware County, GA, with Rev. Willie Wilson officiating.

Active Pallbearers will be: Cameron Faulk, Waylon Faulk, Shane Pridgen, Kevin Wright, Craig Harrell, Andrew Waldron, Cohen Crosby, and Clint Waldron.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
