Marilyn Marie Wilcox, age 86, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully at Vista Park nursing home and rehabilitation, on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024. She was born on June 21, 1937 in Yakama, Washington, the daughter of Mr. Bernard Lochner and Mrs. Elda Louise Lochner.

Her survivors include: One Daughter; Katherine M. Wilcox of Douglas, GA, One Son; Cadmus M. Wilcox of Douglas, GA, One Granddaughter; Shan Marie Wilcox (C.J.) Sauders of Savannah, GA, One Great Grandson; Aiden Sauders, along with several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by: Two Sisters; Floraine Ortiz and Joanne Lochner, Father; Bernard Lochner, and Mother; Elda Louise Lochner.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM, at Carver Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Carver Baptist Church, with Rev. Philip Corbean officiating. Internment will follow at Carver Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family would like for all donations to be made to Carver Baptist Church for missions.

Active Pallbearers will include: John Lindsey, Allen Henderson, Clint Johnson, Jordan Stone, Jotham Corbean, and Jesse Roberts.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
