Mr. Murl Webb Trulove, age 97, of Douglas, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Savannah Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia from injuries sustained in an accident, one day shy of his 98th birthday. Mr. Trulove was born March 29, 1926 in Golden, Mississippi to the late Harbart Virgil Trulove and the late Kate Webb Trulove. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and he made his civilian career in the timber industry for many years. Mr. Trulove worked hard, played hard, and loved his family deeply. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Clara Rae Dodson, Lois Crane, Opaline Collier; 3 Brothers: Hermon Trulove, Earl Trulove and James H. Trulove.

Mr. Trulove is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Mildred Mills Trulove of Douglas, Georgia; Sister-In-Law: Mary B. Mills of Red Bay, Alabama; Nieces and Nephews: Philip Collier and wife Mildred of Douglas, Georgia; Gaynell Jackson of Fulton, Mississippi; Beth Moore and husband Garry of Douglas, Georgia; Peggy McAllister and husband Bobby of Thomason, Georgia; Judy Benson and husband John of Douglas, Georgia; Hermon Trulove and wife Audrey of Sturgis, Mississippi; Jona Thorn and husband David of Cherokee, Alabama; Leann Markham of Starkville, Mississippi; Diann Nichols and husband Donnie of Russellville, AL along with numerous extended family members and friends.

A private family funeral service will be held. Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
