Coffee Regional Medical Center proudly announces its continued recognition with an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade by The Leapfrog Group for the Spring 2024 assessment period. The Leapfrog Group, a respected national nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the quality and safety of healthcare in the United States, rigorously evaluates nearly 3,000 general hospitals biannually. Grades ranging from A to F are assigned based on comprehensive assessments encompassing over 30 criteria, including errors, accidents, injuries, and infections, along with the efficacy of preventative measures implemented by hospitals.
Vicki Lewis, President and CEO of Coffee Regional Medical Center, expressed her gratitude, stating, “We are honored to receive our third consecutive ‘A’ grade from The Leapfrog Group. This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of our caregivers and staff who embody our mission: To Serve. To Heal. To Save.”
Coffee Regional Medical Center stands among the top 29% of hospitals nationwide to attain an ‘A’ grade for Spring 2024, distinguishing itself as one of only 21 hospitals in Georgia to receive this prestigious recognition. This marks the third consecutive ‘A’ grade for CRMC, underscoring its ongoing commitment to patient safety since spring 2023.
