The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated a significant milestone on Monday with the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new Woody Folsom Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealership. The event marked the culmination of the Woody Folsom Automotive Group’s commitment to our community, which began with their purchase of the local CDJR dealership in March 2019.

Located at 1280 SE Bowens Mill Rd, directly across from Harbor Freight, the new dealership stands as a beacon of growth and opportunity for Douglas and Coffee County. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and introduction by Chelsea Graham, Member Relations Director at the Chamber of Commerce. Following this, Chris Watson, Pastor of GracePointe Church and Chamber Board Member, offered a heartfelt blessing over the business, its new location, and the dedicated staff of Woody Folsom CDJR.

Adding a touch of humor and personal testimony, Ben Floyd, CRMC representative and Chamber Board Chair, expressed his appreciation as a loyal Woody Folsom customer. He conveyed his gratitude to Woody and his team for their investment in the Douglas-Coffee County area. Mayor Tony Paulk echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the dealership’s anticipated impact on the local economy. “We believe that Woody Folsom CDJR will be one of our staple businesses, attracting visitors from surrounding counties, and we believe that our community will experience residual benefits from this dealership being here. We believe that Woody Folsom CDJR has the ability to help us continue to build-out the bypass. That is how significant our community believes this dealership is for Douglas and Coffee County,” Mayor Paulk stated.

Woody Folsom, the esteemed owner of Woody Folsom Automotive, expressed his excitement and gratitude. “We are grateful to be here, and we believe we chose a great community to be a part of. We are committed to taking care of our community, our customers, and our people,” Folsom declared. Billy Gregory, General Manager, reaffirmed this commitment, promising the best possible service to the town and their customers. “Our entire staff is excited to be here, and we’re dedicated to taking care of Douglas and our customers,” Gregory stated.

The ribbon cutting was a joyous occasion, witnessed by a large crowd of family, friends, staff, and community leaders. After the ceremony, Woody Folsom and Billy Gregory led a tour of the impressive state-of-the-art facility, showcasing the dealership’s capabilities and amenities.

The new Woody Folsom Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealership is now open at 1280 SE Bowens Mill Rd. For sales inquiries, please call 912-331-4636, and for service inquiries, call 912-493-5295.
