Citizens Christian Academy rising junior Blake Bryant is one of the best baseball players in Georgia in the Class of 2026, according to Prep Baseball Report.
PBR released its list of top high school baseball players last week and Bryant came in ranked #8 among his peers. Listed as 6’3″ and 165 pounds, Bryant plays several infield positions when he isn’t pitching. But it’s on the mound where he’s most valuable. About Bryant, PBR writes, “He has a true three-pitch mix with confidence in all his pitches. The fastball has late life when it is down in the zone with some arm side run. The change up plays off of the fastball out of the same arm slot and arm speed. The curve ball is high spin with good shape and late break.”
At the end of his sophomore campaign, Bryant was named the GIAA Region 3AA Player of the Year, All Region, and All State. He was also #2 in strikeouts in the GIAA and #10 in the state with 97 strikeouts in 58 innings. He posted a 5-3 record with a 2.148 ERA. He also recorded one save in one save opportunity.
“This didn’t happen by accident or coincidence. I have the privilege to watch all his hard work and preparation behind the scenes. It is truly amazing what he does. He deserves all the recognition and more. Beyond being a great player, he is also a great teammate and leader, and that is most important. It is an honor and privilege to coach Blake and this won’t be the last time you hear his name,” says CCA head coach Jeremy Coram.
Bryant has verbally committed to Clemson.
