A convicted sex offender was arrested and charged after officers allegedly found sexually explicit images of children on his phone.
According to a report from the sheriff’s office, on June 11, 2024, a deputy assisted probation officers who were visiting Larramie Warfle, 56, of Broxton, who is a convicted sex offender. Warfle has a Fourth Amendment waiver and as such, his probation officers were looking at his phone and found sexually explicit images of children.
As a result, Warfle was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography and a probation violation. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail and later transferred to Ben Hill County, which is where he was sentenced to probation. He remains incarcerated.
