It took the Coffee Lady Trojans seven innings to outscore the Northside-Warner Robins Eagles 28-0 over two games on Thursday to complete a three-game sweep that began with a 9-1 win Tuesday in Warner Robins. Thursday’s double-header took place in Douglas.

Game one of the double-header lasted 3 ½ innings and was basically over after the first inning. Coffee scored 11 runs in the bottom of the first inning then added a run in the bottom of the second. Maggie Brown, Karlee Thomas, and Allie Pridgen each drove in a pair of runs. The Eagles committed seven errors during the game; as a result, the Lady Trojans tallied just four hits in the contest.

Brown threw a four-inning one-hitter. Her outing totaled 52 pitches, 42 of which were strikes.

In game two, Coffee scored six in the first and 10 in the second on 10 hits and five Northside errors. Pridgen led the way offensively with three hits and four RBI. Brown also drove in four. Pridgen, Thomas, Adalyn Swails, and Imori Paulk doubled.

Thomas threw a three-inning perfect game, striking out seven in the process.

The Lady Trojans have three games next week against Lee County. Tuesday, they play here; Thursday, the two teams meet in Leesburg for a double-header. Coffee is 10-6 on the season.
