Even when he was no longer assigned to my family member, he came by to check on him, ensuring he was still improving.”
CRMC extends sincere congratulations to Steven and all the incredible nominees for the second quarter of 2024. Your commitment to excellence in patient care is inspiring, and your dedication makes a difference in the lives of those CRMC serves. Thank you for exemplifying Our Purpose: To Serve, To Heal, To Save.
The DAISY Award is a globally recognized honor, created by The DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes. Following Patrick’s eight-week hospitalization, his family was profoundly impacted by the compassionate care provided by nurses. In 1999, the Barnes family established the foundation to honor nurses worldwide for their dedication and extraordinary care. Today, over 3,400 healthcare facilities, including CRMC, participate in the DAISY Award program.
Nurses can be nominated for the DAISY Award by anyone who witnesses or experiences remarkable, compassionate care – patients, family members, colleagues, or other staff members.
