Thank you to Sid Cottingham for being this year’s very deserving Parade Grand Marshal. Honorable Mentions were almost too many to name, but a couple of our favorites were the City of Douglas Antique Fire Truck. This truck was bought new by the City of Douglas in 1938. Tonight, it is driven by Douglas Fire Department Firefighter of the year Firefighter of the Year Mason Hereington with Officer of the Year Captain Scott Wiggins. And, of course, Santa’s Sleigh pulled through downtown by GracePointe Church. Congratulations again to all the winners! They each will receive a gift certificate to the local restaurant or business of their choice.
