CHS FBLA members continue to “Embrace the Challenge” during the 2024-2025 school year as they celebrated National FBLA Week, February 9-15, 2025. The Future Business Leaders of America is a national career and technical student organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Business education.
FBLA members began the week with spirit as they wore their FBLA t-shirts on Monday. They followed up on Tuesday with their monthly meeting in conjunction with the Douglas Kiwanis Club where they learned the importance of continuing to pursue leadership and community service throughout one’s lifetime. On Wednesday, members donated hours towards their chapter’s community service project, Rock N’ Read, where they made bags for books to be given to new birth moms at the hospital. On Thursday morning, members and CTAE faculty were shown appreciation and treated to a doughnut breakfast. Additionally, members were joined by special guests, Superintendent Dr. Morris Leis and Chairman of the Coffee County School Board Bryan Preston, who signed a proclamation proclaiming February 9-15, 2025 as National FBLA Week in the Coffee County School System.
Coffee High School FBLA would like to extend a very special thanks to the Superintendent and Chairman of the Board for joining them in this special event. Additionally, they would also like to thank others important in the success of the FBLA members and program, which includes: Coffee County Board of Education and members, CTAE Director, Mrs. Jessica Baker, CHS teachers and administrators, businesses, parents and other government officials. Students would not be able to compete without your coaching, financial support or your belief in their success.
