Villos Benefield, age 65, of Broxton, GA, passed away peacefully at Vista Park Nursing Home and Rehabilitation, on Saturday, March 1st, 2025. He was born on August 30th, 1959 to the late Villos and Eva Mae Burkett Benefield.

His survivors include: His Loving and Devoted Wife; Penny E. Benefield of Broxton, GA, One Son; Lee Moore of Douglas, GA, One Daughter; Kathrine (Shane) Davis of Douglas, GA, Eight Grandchildren; Caden Smith, Carra Davis, Jaelyn Davis, Brent Hobbs, Tyler Moore, Landon Gains, Rylea Childers, and Carly Hutchison, Two Great-Grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by: Father; Villos Benefield, Mother; Eva Mae Burkett Benefield, One Son; Jason Ray Benefield, Two Brothers; Talmadge Benefield, Thomas Benefield, Three Sisters; Vernelle Hutto, Joyce Walls, and Vonice Woods.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 10:00Am until 11:00AM.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, at The Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, at 11:00AM, with Bro. Cliff Kirkland, Rev. Scott Smith, and Rev. Michael Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Royals Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will include: Chris Hutcheson, Allen Hutcheson, Dick Stone, Chase Williams, David Kirkland, and Doyle Wooten.

Honorary Pallbearers will include: James Clark, Wayne Horton, Betty Jewell, Marie Rowland, Phillis Horton, and Sheila Horton.
