From February 9-15, the Coffee High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) celebrated FBLA Week 2025 with a series of events highlighting leadership, community service, and appreciation for those who make a difference in Coffee County.

The week began on Monday with a spirited FBLA Spirit Day, encouraging members to showcase their FBLA pride.

On Tuesday evening, members gathered at Hog N Bones for a special officer installation ceremony. The event was originally scheduled earlier in the year but had to be postponed due to Hurricane Helene. During the evening, FBLA members also presented at the Kiwanis Club meeting, sharing the chapter’s successes and discussing ways to collaborate on future service initiatives.

Wednesday was dedicated to Rock & Read, the chapter’s community service project supporting early childhood literacy. FBLA members packed book bags as part of Coffee County School System’s Birth to Pre-K reading initiative, ensuring young learners in the community have access to books from an early age.

On Thursday, FBLA hosted a breakfast for alumni, CTAE teachers, and members to celebrate the chapter’s achievements and strengthen connections within the school and local community. Special guests included Board of Education representative Mr. Bryan Preston and Superintendent Dr. Morris Leis, who officially signed a proclamation declaring February 9-15 as FBLA Week in Coffee County.

Although Friday was a school holiday, FBLA continued its commitment to service by donating funds to the Honor Our Heroes meal, which provided meals for linemen and first responders who played a crucial role in restoring the community after Hurricane Helene.

FBLA Week 2025 at Coffee High was a meaningful reminder of the organization’s core values: Service, Leadership, and Success. The chapter remains committed to developing future business leaders while giving back to the community that supports them.
