Ida Rene McNab, age 62, of Hazlehurst, GA, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 in Reidsville, GA following an extended illness. Ms. McNab was born on July 4, 1962 to the late James D. Zanders and Imogene Nipper Zanders.

Survivors include: One Daughter; Misty Hicks of Douglas, GA, One Son; Corey McNab of Douglas, GA, Six Grandchildren; Elizabeth Hicks, Emma Hicks, Julie McReavis, Jackson McNab, Brook McNab, Lauren Barbaree, One Great Grandchild; Baylor Hulett, Three Sisters; Lisa (Van) Hughes of Live Oak, FL, Diane Thomas of Hazlehurst, GA, Jeannie Faulkner of Nicholls, GA, One Brother; Dennis Zanders of Douglas, GA, Three Step-Sisters; Cathy McKinnon of Douglas, GA, Carol Sasser of Pearson, GA, Pat Hall of Douglas, GA, and One Step-Brother; Alvin Junior Zanders of Ambrose, GA. Ms. McNab was preceded in death by: One Granddaughter; Deana Hicks, and Parents; James D. Zanders and Imogene Nipper Zanders.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM, at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 2:00PM, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Harper officiating. The interment will follow at Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be: Dennis Zanders, Michael McNab, Dennis Hicks, Adam Brewer, Mike Faulkner, and Gabe Rewis.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
