Coffee High School traveled to Albany, Georgia to travel to participate in the L.C. Smith & Winfred Benson Relays. The Lady Trojans scored 47 points and Trojans scored 43 points. Both teams finished 6th overall out of 17 schools.
Kaloni Styles placed second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.64 seconds. Kaloni finished seventh in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 51.55 seconds. Junior Iree Kennedy cleared 16 feet and 1.5 inches in the long jump for a second place finish. Kenyon Livingston earned two second place finishes in the 110 meter hurdles (14.98 seconds) and 300 meter hurdles (40.90 seconds). The Trojan relay team of Tyrese Woodgett, Travis Adams, Kenyon Livingston and JaQuna Harrison finished second in the 4X200 meter relay with a time of 1:31.29 for a season best.
Kashariyona White took third place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.84 seconds. She also earned a fourth place finish in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.35 seconds. Kashariyona cleared 33 feet and 1 inch in the triple jump.
Woodgett finished third in the boys 100 meter dash with a time of 11.03 seconds. Senior Travis Adams earned a third place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.76.
The Trojan 4X800 meter relay team of Aiden Brunam, Lamario Howard, Jakareyun Tims, and Connor Lott ran 9 minutes and 23.41 seconds for a fourth place finish.
The Lady Trojan 4X200 meter relay team of Ella Edge, L’Kia Wilson, Kaloni Styles, and Kashariyona White finished with a time of 1:49.58 to place fourth. Sophomore Madisyn Turner took a fourth place finish in the long jump clearing 14 feet and 7 inches.
The Lady Trojan 4X100 meter relay placed Jayeya Loving, Nicole Lloyd, Denya Young, and Madisyn Turner ran a time of 53.41 seconds for a seventh place finish. The Lady Trojan 4X400 meter relay team of Ti’Maya Warren, Amariyah Mari Wallace, Christina Smith, and Nahla Franklin finished with a time of 5:08.26. Nicoel Lloyd set a new personal record in the triple jump clearing 32 feet and 3.75 inches. The Trojan 4X100 Meter Relay team of JD Moore, Amir Mcelhaney, Chris Stinson and Sedric McRae ran a 45 seconds for seventh place.
