Christine McLean, age 87, of Broxton, GA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17th, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA. She was born on August 30th, 1937, the daughter of James Byron Brannon and Edna Earl Peebles.

Her survivors include: one son; Al McLean of Broxton, GA, one sister; Nell Brewington of Adel, GA, three sisters-in-law; Faye Brannon of Tifton, GA, Sharon Brannon of Marietta, GA, and Betty B. Davis of Pensacola, FL, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband; CH McLean, son; Charles McLean, father; James Byron Brannon, mother; Edna E. Brannon, three brothers; James Brannon, David Brannon, and Larry Brannon, and one sister; Mary Catherine Brannon.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20th,2025, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at The Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, at 2:00PM, with Rev. Michael Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Broxton, GA.

The family would like to thank George and Mary Ann Harper, Diane Walden, and Linda Wildes for their support through the years.

Active Pallbearers include: David Brannon Jr., Steve Allen, D.J. Harper, Conner Farabow, Johnathan Farabow, and Jordan Farabow.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
