Jose R. Tinajero, age 81, of Ambrose, GA, passed away peacefully at Coffee regional Medical Center, on Friday, March 21st, 2025. He was born on April 30th, 1943, the son of Felix Tinajero and Maria De Jesus Rivas.

His survivors include: his beloved wife; Yolanda Tinajero of Ambrose, GA, five sons; Juan (Josefina) Tinajero of Ambrose, GA, J. Refugio (Maria) Tinajero of Ambrose, GA, Javiar (Merta) Tinajero of Mexico, Santiago (Amolia) Tinajero of Mexico, and Gerarda (Carmen) Tinajero of Ambrose, GA, two daughters; Naria Tinajero of Calfornia, and Lihiana (Rafael) Camacho of Douglas, GA, twenty-nine grandchildren, several great- grandchildren, one brother; Valentin Tinajero of Mexico, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: father; Felix Tinajero, mother; Maria De Jesus Rivas, one brother; David Tinajero, two sisters; Guadulupe Tinajero, and Gloria Tinajero, and one son; Jose’ Carmen Tinajero.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28th, 2025, at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Douglas, GA, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Douglas, GA, at 2:00PM,with Father Saimel Prodomo officiating.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
