The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of the grand opening of Pettiford Tax Services on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. This marks the third location for Pettiford Tax Services, owned by the experienced and dedicated Lindsey Pettiford. With a deep passion for her work and a commitment to excellence, Lindsey is excited to bring her trusted tax services to Douglas and Coffee County.

The vibrant celebration commenced with opening remarks from Chelsea Preston Graham of the Chamber of Commerce. Following the warm welcome, Pastor Frank Bussey of The Empowerment Center International Ministries delivered a heartfelt blessing of prosperity, setting a positive tone for the event.

Ben Floyd, Chairman of the Chamber Board, congratulated Lindsey Pettiford on her business expansion and expressed gratitude for her investment in Douglas-Coffee County. He reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to supporting local businesses, stating, “Our Chamber boasts a wonderful team that is ready to serve and will do all they can to ensure businesses are successful here in Douglas and Coffee County.”

Mayor Tony Paulk also addressed the crowd, speaking from personal experience about the dedication and perseverance required to be a small business owner. He commended Lindsey for her hard work and determination in successfully opening three locations.

Taking center stage, Lindsey Pettiford shared her gratitude and reflected on her entrepreneurial journey. She credited God for His blessings and guidance, thanking her husband, family, and loyal clients for their unwavering support. In a heartfelt moment, she acknowledged the first 20 clients who entrusted her with their accounting needs, whose word-of-mouth referrals have helped her grow her clientele to over 500.

Surrounded by family, employees, friends, and loyal clients, Lindsey proudly cut the ribbon in front of Pettiford Tax Services’ new Douglas location, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter for her business in the community.
