Ricky Taylor, age 65, of West Green, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025 the son of James Ralph Taylor and Dorothy Eloise Taylor.

His survivors include: his beloved wife; Sue Ann Taylor of Waynesville, GA, three daughters; Jennifer (Robert) Roagin of Montana, Amanda Michelle (Rowdy) Gilbert of Jacksonville, FL, and Kelly Taylor (Jeremy) Griswald of Ambrose, GA, two sons; James (Connie) Metts of Broxton, GA, and Jeremy Metts of Broxton, GA, three step-children; Kole (Chaz) Dowling of Wyoming, Wayne (Miranda) Baker of Jesup, GA, and Terry (Amy) Baker of Deltona, FL, twenty-two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four sisters; Debbie (Daron) Carelock of Alma, GA, Sheila (Ricky) Carver of Douglas, GA, Melissa Bolton of Jacksonville, FL, and Tammy Taylor of Jacksonville, FL, two brothers; Junior (Kathy) Miller of West Green, GA, and Michael Taylor Dunia of Jacksonville, FL, step-parents; Charlene Taylor and Eugene Miller Sr., along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: father; James Ralph Taylor, mother; Dorothy Eloise Taylor, one sister; Cindy Purvis, three nephews; Christopher Zanders, Jason Zanders, and Jason Zanders.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at Calvary Tabernacle Full Gospel Assembly, in West Green, GA, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Calvary Tabernacle Full Gospel Assembly in West Green, GA, with Rev. Cliff Kirkland and Rev. Lee Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Tabernacle Full Gospel Assembly Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will include: Russ Story, John Higgs, Gregory Carver, Ricky Carver Sr., Josh Carver, and Robert Byrd.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
