Jesse Cleveland McLeod, age 90, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, April 11th, 2025, following an extended illness. He was born on January 8th, 1935 the son of John Cleveland McLeod and Lota Bell Davis McLeod.

Survivors include: his beloved wife; Wilma Ricketson McLeod of Louisville, KY, one son; Gary (Sandy) McLeod of Louisville, KY, one daughter; Sandra Kay McLeod of Brunswick, GA, one grandchild; Philip Ryan (Monet) McLeod, along with several nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces. He was preceded in death by: one son; Dennis Wayne McLeod, five brothers, five sisters, one son in law; John Douglas Bane, father; John Cleveland McLeod, and mother; Lota Bell Davis McLeod.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 18th, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at the chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Leroy Spivey and Rev. Floyd Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. Following the interment, there will be a meal at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church social hall.

Active pallbearers will include: Tony Aycock, Danny Willingham, Royce Powell, Robert Shelby Hollingsworth, Philip Ryan McLeod, and Barry Spivey.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
